FORMAT: BOA Rules & Procedures. Twelve bands advance to finals. Preliminary class champions perform in evening exhibition if not among the field of finalists.
Prelims awards are presented in each class for Outstanding General Effect, Outstanding Music Performance, Outstanding Visual Performance, 1st Place, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place. From among all prelims competitors will be presented awards for Outstanding Percussion and Outstanding Color Guard.
Preliminary performance scheduling will be based on multiple factors: 2024 event finalist status, previous participation and competitive status at the event, order of receipt of registration form, and geographic distance from the event site.
Registration deadline is September 19, 2025. The event will be capped at 28 registrants, after which a waiting list will form.
