The Music in Motion Marching Band Contest is a contest geared towards growing high school bands as an alternative or pre-contest to the BOA Super Regional in STL. Our contest offers a relaxed format that will help ease your band into the next level of performance. Our competition offerings include Prelims, Finals and a one on one clinic with our judges. Directors will have a clinic with the Effect Judges and the Band will Work with Ensemble and Caption judges. We will use BOA sheets. There will be two awards ceremonies that will honor the performances of ALL bands. No penalties of any kind will be assessed. The day is about giving your students a memorable and rewarding experience. Bands will be scheduled according to distance traveled and registration date. Prelim Classification is based on band size. Our high quality judging panel will consist of members of local judges with BOA and DCI Experience. Directors will receive written and audio comments and scores and a one on one Clinic from the panel.
