JPI 2026 Announcement

Welcome to the 14th Annual Jaguar Pride Invitational Marching Festival on September 12, 2026! Bands are classified by the number of winds + marching percussion (band size). After your performance a clinic of 20–25-minutes is provided for each band inside the gymnasium.

Entry Fee: The entry fee is $300. It should be made payable to SHS Bands. Payment is due upon receipt of invoice. The invoice will be sent no later than May 15.

Competition Format: The format will be structured according to the number of schools entered.

Performance Opportunity: The Festival will be structured according to the number of schools entered.
******************
10+ Bands: JPI will feature a morning and afternoon competition, splitting the day based on band classification/divisions.
Each session would have its own awards (see awards below)
90 minute break to allow for traffic to enter/exit.
******************
9 or Less Bands: Splitting of the day will not be required, performances would begin no earlier than 4:30pm.

Performance Time: Performance time is determined by class and payment receipt date, so please register soon and let accounting know of this policy.

Awards: This is a one-performance-only competition with bands competing for captions and placements within their divisions. Caption awards will be given in each class for Outstanding Music, Outstanding Visual Effect, Outstanding Percussion and Outstanding Auxiliary.

Uniforms: Due to the early-season date, and issues related to heat in the past, we are strongly suggesting your band consider alternative uniforms for this festival (shorts and t-shirts, for example). The judges will be aware of our request.

Festival Services:
The festival will take place on our athletic field which features RAMTURF installed in 2024. We have plenty of parking, ample seating for spectators and world-class hospitality for band staff and bus drivers. The Band Parent Organization will provide concessions, merchandise, and air gram announcements. Cash and credit cards are accepted.

Seckman HS is located 13 miles south of St. Louis just off of I-55 at the Imperial Main exit.
