Field Show $325 Spectator Admission-$10 per adult, $5 per child (12 and under) and seniors (65+), 3 and under is free. | |
Directors, The Royal Regiment, Harrisonville R-IX School District, and the Royal Guard Band Boosters cordially invite your band to participate in the 8th Annual Royal Regiment Marching Invitational! We are proud to expand our festival to include a parade competition for High School and Middle School Bands!! We will feature a field, indoor drumline, and indoor color guard competition as well. The Parade competition will coincide with the Historic Log Cabin Festival Parade. The parade will be adjudicated by a panel three judges (Music, Corner, and Block). Schools will unload at the high school, march down Waters, turn on Pearl, march to the square, then turn on Independence where you will meet up with your transportation in order to relocate to the Middle School for the rest of the competition. The Field Show will take place at Memorial Stadium 500 Polar Lane Harrisonville MO (next to Harrisonville Middle School). Adjudication will follow traditional West Central Missouri Circuit format with 6 adjudicators. We will also have one additional adjudicator for Color Guard. Both Indoor events will take place in the Middle School Gym located right next door to Memorial Stadium. Events will one adjudicator. The performances will be adjudicated by a mixture of strong regional and national adjudicators. Awards will be presented at the conclusion of the event. The final award of the event will be for the Ed Roberts Grand Champion, given to the highest combined score between Parade and Field Show.
