WEATHER UPDATE 16 OCTOBER 2025, 230PM Good afternoon! I know you are looking at the weather for this weekend, and we are too! We are hoping for inclement weather to move away and not affect the show, but we all know how Missouri treats us with weather. IF we can be outside safely, we will, but safety is our #1 priority. With that in mind, I wanted to share some information with you: 1-The call for moving inside will be made by our staff either late Friday night or early Saturday morning. This decision would be sent out via email, posted on Midwest Marching, our website (www.wolfprideband.com), and via Competition Suite to the contacts on file. The show will go on either way, as we want to give you the chance to perform! 2-IF we move inside, we will keep the same times as much as possible (we will NOT have earlier performance times to keep your travel consistent), and move visual judges to music captions. In an inside performance scenario, finals would be cancelled. 3-IF we move inside, Percussion and Color Guard would still be judged, and we would suggest sending a few select CG folks up front or to the side to demonstrate your mastery of your choreography. We want your kids to be able to show off! 4-IF we move inside, we have a full sized Basketball gym in which you can perform your music, and lots of seating for spectators! Warm up would be in the Aux Gym, which has interior access to the performance area. We will also have room in our (long) halls for you to store cases, wipe off damp, etc. 5-IF we move inside, please don't bring props inside, as we want to protect our playing areas and those people attending the festival. Those areas will be covered by tarps, but again, safety first! 6-We understand your apprehension regarding weather, and we will do everything we can to make things as safe as possible, and as smooth as possible. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we wait on Mother Nature! PS-We will still have concessions and Wolf Calls (Air-Grams) available if we move inside. If you'd like us to plan on feeding your kids so you don't have to cook outside, please let me know! We can take cash, card, or school check! The Ozark Mountain Marching Festival strives to meet the educational, performance, and feedback-based needs of bands of all sizes and ability levels. Originally created as a festival for smaller bands, OMMF has grown into a full day celebration of bands and their families, with bands from 24 to 160 members performing throughout the day in 2024. We frequently have bands that are only halfway through their competitive season, as well as those bands that are finishing up their season at OMMF. We strive to hire adjudicators that will give feedback appropriate to the size, ability level, and needs of your particular group. We have had so much positive feedback and attendance over the last few years, and since we consistently have more bands expressing interest than our day accommodates, we will be accepting entries on the website up to a limit of 20 bands.
