Southern Illinois Marching Percussion Festival

The Centralia High School Performing Arts Boosters are proud to host the 2nd Annual Marching Percussion Festival held at Centralia High School on Saturday, August 29th, 2026.

We are excited to provide an opportunity for the programs in and around Southern Illinois to showcase their percussion ensembles, and receive critical early season feedback from Percussion Specialists.

The festival will be held at our outdoor stadium. If weather presents an issue, the competition will be moved indoors to our cafetorium.

Schools can sign up for Competitive and Non-Competitive Performance Opportunities. Performance slots are 25 minutes with a clinic held following the performance.
Please fill out the form if you are interested so we can start planning accordingly. Each ensemble will have a clinic with a renowned adjudication panel. Performance order will be determined by entry and payment date.
We are also offering a solo competition for students who would like to be adjudicated on a snare, bass, tenor or mallet solo. If you are not sure at that time please let us know later.

Entry fee is $150.
Soloist entry fee $10

After registering, an invoice will be sent to the Director of Bands in the coming weeks.
