This festival is designed for small marching bands. Limited performance slots are available for 1A & 2A bands. Performance time will be determined by band classification and payment receipt date.

Adjudicator Panel:
General Field Show: Corey Seapy - Corey Seapy is a dynamic conductor and educator who has spent the last eighteen years maximizing the artistic potential of a wide variety of ensembles. He serves as Director of Bands at the University of Central Missouri, where he leads the Wind Ensemble, teaches conducting, and oversees the band program. Dr. Seapy also conducts the Rock Orchestra Kansas City and Warrensburg Community Band. Prior to arriving at UCM, he served as Director of Bands at Millikin University in Decatur, IL. He is an active guest conductor and clinician, a Third Place recipient of the American Prize in Conducting, and a new music advocate who has led many world premieres. Dr. Seapy holds conducting degrees from the UMKC Conservatory (MO) and Ithaca College (NY), and a degree in Music Education from Gordon College (MA). He lives in Lee’s Summit, MO, where he spends his free time trying to keep up with two tiny humans and a dog.

General Field Show: Matthew Manning -

Percussion: Joey Carter - Joey is a Kansas City-based composer, conductor, drill designer and educator. He currently serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Central Missouri, where he teaches courses in instrumentation and orchestration. He holds a Bachelors of Music Education and is completing a Master of Music degree in conducting and composition at UCM.

Color Guard: Emily Mastenbrook - Emily was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in Bassoon Performance at the University of Missouri Kansas City. Emily brings years of experience in Drum Corps, Collegiate marching band, and Color Guard instruction, specializing in weapon choreography at a variety of institutions. Passionate about education, Emily strives to create a supportive environment where students are encouraged to challenge themselves, build confidence, and grow both as performers and as individuals.
