The Edwardsville HS Band Boosters are proud to present the 18th annual Tiger Ambush Classic on September 19, 2026. Bands performing at the classic are divided into four classifications based on school size. Bands in each class compete for awards in Outstanding Music Performance, Outstanding Visual Performance, Outstanding Percussion, and Outstanding Guard. 1A/2A bands only compete against each other, and 3A/4A bands only compete against each other. 2 awards ceremonies are held, and 2 grand champions are named. The Edwardsville football field has been recently refurbished with a new layer of rubber pellets under the turf and remains a fantastic performance surface. The stadium does not have a track, so the spectators sit close to the field. The warm-up areas are lined full-sized fields which can be utilized in a myriad of ways before your performance.
