Spectator Tickets: $10 Adults, $5 Children 5-17, $5 Ages 65+/current or former military/first responders; Kids 4 and under are Free. *Tickets are valid all day for prelims and finals.

October 1, 2022 - Rock Bridge Marching Festival - Competition Details

The inaugural Rock Bridge Marching Festival is in fall 2022. Hosted at the Rock Bridge High School campus in Columbia, MO, our campus is easily accessible from Highway 70, Highway 63, and Highway 54. The campus is only a few miles away from Highway 63 and 70. The Rock Bridge stadium features a turf field and a large grandstand and press box for excellent band viewing as well as a great vantage point for the judging panel. The festival will feature a prelims and finals format. The Rock Bridge facilities allow for simple festival logistics along with 2 lighted turf warm up areas. After finals, we invite bands qualifying for finals to participate in a critique with the judges after final awards. This is an invaluable time for a staff to learn instructional techniques and design techniques that can take their bands’ performance to the next level.

Bands will be placed into class divisions based on MSHSAA school size. Certain classes could be split or combined based on the amount of bands attending the festival.

Registration fee will be $250 per band. Please register by September 1st. Link to register below.

Preliminary competition will award the top 3 placements in each class as well as award Best Music, Best Visual, Best General Effect caption awards. The top 12 scoring bands will advance to finals competition regardless of class. If a class champion does not qualify for finals based on their score, they will perform in finals as an exhibition performance and will still receive feedback as well as be able to attend the judges critique after finals awards.
