Midland University and Fremont High School are proud to host the Fremont Marching Band Showcase in Fremont, Nebraska to provide high school marching bands a positive working and performance environment to encourage growth and development of the ensembles and the marching band activity.
Clinic
The format includes a one-hour clinic session with a pair of clinicians at either Appleget or Heedum Fields. During this time the band can choose what they would like to demonstrate and get feedback from the clinicians. This can include physical and musical warm-up and strength- building routines, student and staff leadership roles, fundamental routines, as well as show performance. The band director should guide the clinicians towards areas they want to work on. Clinicians and directors can guide this process as they wish during the clinic session. It is not necessary for the band to be in uniform for the clinic. The public may choose to observe the clinics free of charge, but should be respectful of the workshop nature of the sessions
