The Central Methodist University Band Day is a parade, field, indoor guard and indoor drum line competition for high school bands. The parade competition begins at 10:00 am and takes place around the historic Fayette Square and the field competition begins around Noon and takes place on the newly renovated Davis Field. Indoor color guard competition is held in the Philips/Robb Recreation Center and the drum line Competition takes place in Puckett Field House. Bands are classified by MSHSAA standards according to school size. This is one of the oldest marching festivals in Missouri and has been in existence for over 50 years. | |
