Music on the Meramec

The 7th annual Music on the Meramec will be held at Fox High School in Arnold, MO. The festival will consist of a field competition only. Field competition classification will be structured according to the number of schools entered and MSHSAA classification in football (Class 1,2,3,4,5,6) or its equivalent for out of state groups.

The competition is not a “prelims/finals” format. Should any class be too small to “stand alone”, two or more classes may be combined. Place awards will be presented to ALL participating bands. Caption awards (music, visual, percussion, color guard) will be awarded in each class breakdown. Classification of bands will not be made public to the judges. The schedule will be set-up “scrambled” based on when entries have been received. Directors and staff will receive critique time with the judges after awards.
