	Admission: $15 adults, $7 seniors | students & Children under 5 are free Programs: $5 Online tickets can be purchased @ https://givebutter.com/fESxzL and cash or credit card will be at accepted at each entrance gate the day of the event. Event wristbands can be picked up at the main entrance gate on the day of the event. All online tickets are non-refundable. Concessions will be available for purchase on site. Free parking is available in the stadium parking lot which can be access from Morningside Avenue at Peters or Vine Avenue. Travel on some roads around the stadium will be limited.
	The Marching Stars from Sioux City North High School will be hosting the 26th Annual STARFEST Competition on Saturday, September 28, 2024. We would love to host you and your band! STARFEST Field Competition: *Typically hosts 16 bands from Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, and South Dakota. • Is held at Olsen stadium (on the campus of Morningside University) and has seating for over 10,000 audience members. The facility has Concessions, Bathrooms, turf field, and Daktronics Video Board. • Competition includes a preliminary round where bands compete in the four Iowa High School Music Association classifications. The top 10 bands from the preliminary competition go into the evening finals competition in open class. • Judges sheets were revamped in 2022 • Trophies are awarded in each class in the prelims and all placings in the finals. • Caption Awards are presented after finals. • Participating bands will receive a performance video, judges audio commentary and scores which will be sent via Competition Suite and an opportunity to visit with the judges following prelims and finals. • Provides positive adjudicating experiences for directors and band members with experienced judges from Tri-State Judging. • Provides On-site concession stands open during the entire festival.
