The Tiger Ambush Classic is an afternoon/evening contest open to any band that applies. Bands are divided into four classes by band size and compete for awards in Outstanding Winds, Percussion, Color Guard, and Grand Champion. 1A/2A bands only compete against each other, and 3A/4A bands only compete against each other. 2 awards ceremonies are held, and 2 grand champions are named. Judging is based on sheets designed by the Bands of America.

Entry Fee: $250 (if paid before July 1) $300 (if paid after July 1)

We try to track down as much info as we can but we rely on the festival directors to update their pages with schedules and results.  Fans can help us too the day of a festival by sending us photos, schedule updates, scores, etc. via Facebook messenger.  If you post on social media use hashtag #midwestmarching and we may share your post. Midwest Marching is not a governing or sanctioning body for marching band events or judging.  All marching events are operated by the hosting director or hosting organization.  Please contact your school’s band director with any concerns about a marching event.
