	My name is Christian Beck, Assistant Band Director at Rogers Heritage High School. We are hosting our War Eagle Classic Marching Band Competition on October 12th this year. Will still have spots available for our contest and if schedule conflicts are an issue we can work around it. We are trying our best to give the Northwest Arkansas area a great deal of help with your students with some of the best judges and positive feedback to your programs. If you have any questions or are interested in come, please feel free to email me christian.beck@rpsar.net We are pleased to invite you and your students to the 14th Annual War Eagle Classic Marching Invitational taking place at Heritage High School’s Gates Stadium, in Rogers, Arkansas on October 12th, 2024! Our facility boasts a great turf field, ample paved parking, and nearby warm-up areas in our indoor practice facility. Stadium seating is available in three levels. Pit equipment and props can temporarily be stored on the track for your convenience. Concessions, t-shirts, and memorabilia will be available for purchase. The preliminary competition will be by class with performance times based on wind/percussion size. This year, our scoring system will be updated and we will be using Competition Suite! We will be giving awards for outstanding General Effect, Music Performance, Visual Performance, Percussion, Auxiliary, Drum Major, and Outstanding Soloist Caption to the top three bands in each class, in preliminary competition. Finalist bands will include the top ten bands from the preliminary competition, regardless of class. Trophies will be awarded to all finalists, as well as the top scorers in Outstanding Music, Visual, General Effect, Auxiliary, Percussion, Outstanding Soloist, and Drum Major. A Grand Champion Trophy will be given to the outstanding overall band. We are already hard at work preparing to bring you and your band a well-organized event. We hope you will schedule the War Eagle Classic into your competition schedule this year, and for years to come. The entry fee is $200.
