| Renowned for a fun-filled day of music, events, and entertainment, this event is one that you and your students will look forward to for years to come. Schools will compete in classes according to MSHSAA guidelines (same for out-of-state bands).
The morning steps off at the newly renovated campus of North Central Missouri College. The parade then passes through the heart of our beautiful historic downtown before ending just two blocks from the main festival site and Trenton High School campus.
The field show competition begins in the afternoon at C.F. Russell Stadium. Bands will be judged on music effect (individual & ensemble), visual effect (individual & ensemble) as well as percussion and auxiliary captions. The stadium seating is covered, offering a comfortable viewing experience for our guests.
Indoor Drumline and Auxiliary competition will take place throughout the day on the campus of Trenton High School. There is a scheduled warm-up gym available just prior to each competition. Both gymnasiums are full-size and connected by a corridor for the ease of moving ensembles from the practice to the performance area.
The festival will wrap up with an awards ceremony under the lights at C.F. Russell Stadium. Awards will be given to the top three of each class in their respective event as well as the “Hannaford Sweepstakes” award. We hope you will join us for a fun-filled, learning, and rewarding experience. If you have been to the Missouri Days Marching Festival before, we welcome you back, and if it is your first time, we look forward to hosting you!
