Cameron is located at the crossroads of I-35 and Hwy 36 in Northwest Missouri PARADE COMPETITION - Downtown Cameron around historic McCorkle Park . Parade will step-off at 9:00 am. FIELD COMPETITION - new Sprinturf at Dave Goodwin Field INDOOR COLOR GUARD - full size gymnasiums (warm-up and performance) INDOOR DRUMLINE - full size gymnasiums (warm-up and performance) Bands will be separated by MSHSAA classifications (or equivalent for out-of-state bands) Awards ceremony will be after the Cameron Marching Dragons exhibition performance Awards given to top 3 bands in each class (ties broken by music score) Field show caption awards to include: Outstanding Music, Outstanding Auxiliary, Outstanding Performer GRAND CHAMPION trophy - top score in Parade + Field Judges recordings will be shared via a Google Folder to the director Inclement Weather- The competition is expected to continue except in hazardous weather situations. In the case of weather delays the schedule may be adjusted, but the event will not be postponed or rescheduled to another date. Copyright Requirements- All registered bands are required to comply with copyright laws in regard to performance and/or arrangements of copyrighted music. No ensemble will be permitted to perform if it is not in compliance with copyright laws of the United States. The competition manager may ask at anytime for proof of proper permissions. We welcome any and all spectators that will show respect and support for all of the hard work done by the performing ensembles! | |
