Wilton Festival of Bands

October 10, 2015The 24th Annual Wilton Festival
of Bands is an afternoon show specifically tailored to
meet the needs of Class 1A and 2A bands from Iowa and
Illinois. Over 1500+ participants and spectators attend
the festival annually. This year’s show is tentatively
scheduled to begin at 1:00pm with the awards ceremony at
approximately 6:00pm.Bands can choose to perform in
Competition, Judged Exhibition or Comments Only.
Trophies are given out to all bands as well as
additional trophies for the top three bands of the day.
Certificates of Outstanding Achievement are given out in
the categories of Horn line, Drum line, Color Guard,
Drum Major, Soloist/Small Ensemble and Marching
Execution to all bands who perform at a “Division 1”
proficiency level. Interested directors should contact

Directions
From Interstate 80: Take exit 271. Go South on
IA-38 S/US-6 W for 3 miles. Turn left onto W 5th
St/Historic U.S. 6 and go 1.4 miles. Turn left onto
Cypress St and go to the stop sign. You are now at the
entrance of the WHS parking lot. This is 50 yards from
Wilton stadium.
From the South on IA-38 N. Go 10 miles north of
Muscatine. Turn right onto W 5th St/Historic U.S. 6 and
go 1.4 miles. Turn left onto Cypress St and go to the
stop sign. You are now at the entrance of the WHS
