The 24th annual Rosemount High School Marching Band Festival features exciting performances by the finest high school marching bands from throughout the Midwest.

Gates & Concessions Stand open at  4:00 PM, silent auction bidding begins; show starts at 5 PM (many silent auction items!!)

Judging Panel

Jeff Goldsmith: a former music educator of 15 years who remains active in the Twin Cities music community as a performer, clinician, and adjudicator. He is the owner/operator of a highly respected and successful group travel planning business specializing in international travel.

Chad Armbruster: currently a high school Band Director who formerly served as the Corps Director for the Blue Stars Drum & Bugle Corps and is an active adjudicator throughout the Midwest.

Steve Vento: currently a professor of music at Tulsa Community College in Tulsa, OK, and a Brass Instructor for the Blue Devils Drum & Bugle Corps (Concord, CA). Formerly a Band Director at Broken Arrow HS, OK. Since 1996 Steve Vento has written over 250 shows at every grade level and at every competitive level. His arrangements and compositions have won over 40 state titles in many states. His arrangements and compositions have also been very successful at the national level at Bands of America events; 13 time BOA Class Champion, 3 BOA Regional Champion, 45 time BOA Regional Finalist, 15 time BOA National Semi-Finalist, and 7 time BOA National Finalist.

Adam Sage: is an active choreographer, designer and adjudicator in the pageantry arts across the nation. Adam has worked with numerous award winning high school marching bands and drum corps, including: Madison Scouts, Cavaliers, Carolina Crown, Cadets of Bergen County, Phantom Regiment, Sanata Clara Vanguard, Magic of Orlando and Suncoast Sound.

Matt Ferry: is currently a Regional Education Sales Manager for MakeMusic Inc. creators of the Finale and SmartMusic software. Outside of his work in music technology, Matt is a sought after arranger, educator and adjudicator for indoor percussion, marching bands, and percussion ensembles. Matt has been the Front Ensemble Coordinator and Percussion Arranger for Minnesota Brass since 2003.

Garret Decker: an award winning visual designer who has created and designed shows for many of the nations finest high school marching bands, color guards and drum and bugle corps.

John Greene: is a Band Director at Falcon Ridge Middle School in Apple Valley where he teaches 8th grade bands, jazz ensemble, percussion ensemble and studio percussion, trumpet, and flute. As an adjudicator he has judged throughout the Midwest and Canada and has served as judge administrator for the Mid‐America Competing Band Directors' Association (MACBDA) for 20 years.
