Iowa’s finest high school
marching bands will perform in the 33rd Annual Marion
Marching Invitational. The competition will be held at
the Marion Football Field across from Thomas Park, in
Marion. More than 1,500 students will be performing in
this Iowa High School Music Association sanctioned
event.
Trophies will be awarded for all places in each
class. Awards will also be given to outstanding drum
majors, color guards, horn lines, drum lines, and an
overall champion for the evening.
Gates open at 4:15 p.m. with competition beginning at
5:00 p.m. Admission is $6 for adults and students. Concessions will be available.
The community is welcome to attend the event and
enjoy the sights and sounds of this collection of
