The 2014 Big Sioux Review will be held on Saturday September 27th, 2014 starting at 6:30 PM at the Brandon Valley Athletic Complex. Bands from Minnesota, Iowa and South Dakota will compete in the evening competition for trophies and awards in 3-4 classes. Classes are determined by the band’s size not school size. As in past years, the Big Sioux Review and the Tri State Band Festival in Luverne, Minnesota will continue to work together to give bands a wonderful opportunity to perform in two events on the same day. Tri State Band Festival starts with a parade and field performance during the morning and afternoon and that evening the Big Sioux Review offers another opportunity for bands to play under the lights! The Star of the Prairie trophy will be awarded to the band that receives the highest combined point total from both field competitions.

Directions to Brandon Valley High School are: From I-90 take the Brandon Exit 406 and travel South for 1 mile. The High school will be on your right (301 S Splitrock Blvd). From I-229 take the Rice Street Exit 7 and travel East towards Brandon. Rice Street will turn into Holly Blvd at 6 Mile Road. Stay on Holly Blvd until you reach Splitrock Blvd. Turn right and the High School will be on the right hand side of the road.
