On Saturday September 28, 2012 Brandon-Valley Band Parents will host the 14th annual Big Sioux Review field marching band competition.

The field competition will begin at 6:35 p.m. with the awards ceremony being held at 10:45 p.m. Admission for adults will be $8.00 which includes a color souvenir program and Big Sioux Review XIII button. Student admission is $3.00 and includes a button. The gates will open for general admission at 5:30 p.m. The competition will take place at the Brandon-Valley High School football field.

• Marching bands from South Dakota that are competing in the Big Sioux Review include Aberdeen Central, Brookings, Huron, Lennox, Madison, Mitchell, O’Gorman, Parkston, Roosevelt, West Central, and Yankton.
• Attending the Big Sioux Review from Minnesota will be the Luverne Cardinal Marching Band and the Pipestone Area Marching Arrows.
• Representing Iowa will be the Marching Generals from Sibley-Ocheyedan HS.
• The Brandon-Valley Marching Lynx will also be performing their 2013 show “Earthly Cathedrals” in exhibition.
