The Prospect High School Band Boosters sponsored the 27th Annual Knight of Champions marching band competition on Saturday, September 28th at Prospect High School, 801 W. Kensington, Mount Prospect, IL.
Join for our 28th Annual Knight of Champions! This will be a fun and memorable event for all! Awards scheduled to be presented in Class A, AA, and AAA as well as awards for outstanding percussion, auxiliary, music, visual and general effect in each class. A caption-specific commentary and scoring, and an overall Grand Champion traveling trophy will be awarded for the highest scores. The Knight of Champions uses the Bands of America scoring rubric.

This year we will feature the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire - Marching Blugolds performing in Exhibition! Join us for this memorable addition to our event.

Judging will be BOA style. Ties are determined first by the highest raw score (score minus penalties), then highest General Effect total, then by highest Music total score.

We try to track down as much info as we can but we rely on the festival directors to update their pages with schedules and results.  Fans can help us too the day of a festival by sending us photos, schedule updates, scores, etc. via Facebook messenger.  If you post on social media use hashtag #midwestmarching and we may share your post.
