Eastview Marching Festival

Here are the final details for the Eastview Marching Band on Saturday, September 8th. We are very excited that 18 bands will be performing in the event. We will do our best to host an outstanding marching band festival for you and your students. Please do not hesitate to contact me or ask for help from our parent hosts if you have any requests, questions, or concerns about the festival.

Almost all bands have participated in the festival in the past. The event will be run in a very similar manner to last year.

We are using MCDABA scoring sheets for the show. NO PENALTIES WILL BE ASSESSED.
Our outstanding judging panel includes judges with extensive experience in national marching band events. We hope to provide participating groups and directors with cutting edge feedback on show design and development as well as performance.
It will NOT rain this year, but we have a practiced plan in place if necessary.
Our concession stand will be well stocked and open for band students and audience members at 4:00 pm. We have a great menu that includes pizza hot dogs, walking tacos, and the usual other treats. If you would like the concession stand to be prepared to feed your band at a specific time please let us know.
The food at the critique dinner for band staff members will be better than ever. (OK at least as good.)

This event will take place after the afternoon's Eden Prairie Marching Festival.

Performance Schedule

Gate times will be 15 minutes before your performance. Note the early 8:35 pm awards ceremony for class A and AA. This also allows the judges to get a break and creates additional audience seating for the AAA group performances.
