Sparta Illinois Marching Contest

Sparta Illinois Marching Festival is a parade/field show competition. The parade sponsored by the Sparta Rotary will begin at 1:00pm from Sparta High School. Parade awards will be presented at the Sparta High School football field. The field show portion of the competition sponsored by the Sparta High School Marching Bulldogs will begin after the parade awards are presented. Schools will be divided into three classes according to band size. There will be separate awards given for parade and field show as well as a grand champion from each contest. Bands will compete for awards in Outstanding Music, Outstanding Visual, Auxiliary, Percussion, and Drum Major. We will also offer on field critique given by clinicians. |
