I would like to invite you to the 20th annual Heart of America Marching Festival sponsored by the University of Kansas Band and the KMEA Northeast District. The contest will be hosted on Saturday, October 29, 2011 in Memorial Stadium on the KU campus. The deadline for entries is Friday, September 30, 2011.

For 2011, the Heart of America Marching Festival will utilize a single performance format and the following trophies and/or plaques will be awarded:

Division Ratings - I, II, III

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies for each size classification

Grand Champion

Outstanding Music, Marching, GE, Percussion, Color Guard/Auxiliary, Drum Major
