The Bonner Springs Marching Festival is a clinic/competition designed to give bands an opportunity to perform at the beginning of the season and receive a video clinic after their performance. The judging format will use competitive style scoring and every band will receive a placing and award. Bands will be split into divisions based on band size.

Judging Panel
Dr. Frank Tracz from K-State will be our clinician for the festival. Our press box judges will be Scott Edson, who taught for many years in Golden, CO; and Don Farthing, who taught for many years in Independence, KS and was recently elected to the KBA Hall of Fame. Our color guard judge will be Ms. Cindy Hayes who brings many years of dance and color guard experience. There will also be a percussion judge. All judges will provide comments directed towards the improvement of the band for the season.
