This afternoon/evening event is a prelims/finals competition in the suburbs of Kansas City. Bands compete for awards for placement and captions (including Outstanding Music, Visual, and General Effect) on a newly installed turf field. Bands are divided into two classes by number of players and judged using sheets derived by Bands of America.  Prelims begin at 2:00pm.  Finals begin at 7:00pm.  Concessions are available on site.
