Each band in the Parade will receive $100. Also there will be prize money for the parade-1st Place-$200, 2nd Place-$100, 3rd Place-$50. We will be charging $150.00 for field show participation. The field show awards will be trophies. In addition, there will be a prize of $500.00 for the band having the highest combined parade and field show score.

CLASSES - Depending on the number of entries all bands will be divided by class based on this past year's enrollment for the Field competition. Parade competition separation will depend on the number of entrees. It will be based on school enrollment. Bands may march exhibition for the parade and receive comments but not be rated with those competing. Neither of the Pinckneyville Bands will compete in either competition. The PCHS "Marching Panthers" will perform in exhibition to conclude the Field show competition and both Pinckneyville Bands will march in the evening parade.

JUDGES: We will have eight judges for the field competition and three judges for the parade competition. They will be set up this way: Judge 1&2- Music 40%, Judge 3- Visual Performance 20%, Judge 4- Visual General Effect 20%, Judge 5- Music General Effect 20%. For Field we will have the following caption judges: Percussion, Color Guard, and Drum Major. For the parade there will be three judges. Judge 1- General Effect, Judge 2- Music Performance/Percussion, Judge 3- Visual Performance/Color Guard. The Caption scores will not be used to determine place awards.

SCHEDULE: The Field competition will be held in the afternoon beginning around 1:00 pm depending on the number of entries. Awards for the Field competition will be held after the PCHS Band performs that afternoon. The Parade begins at 7:00 pm and awards will be presented as soon as the last band is judged and scores are ready. There should be a couple of hours between the field and parade-time for your group to eat and get moved and ready for the parade performance.
